Diversity is a Verb Launches Live Chat for Youth

By creating Diversity Is A Verb Youth Nation, educator, author, and speaker  Gina Humber  plans to, “Politically, socially, economically & mentally improve the life conditions of our youth, and produce Excellence in our community and globally,” with a powerful call to action.

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, nearly 20 percent of youth live in families with incomes below the poverty line, and these youth are more likely to be engaged in unhealthy activities. Many underserved communities have experienced cuts in youth funding, which further exacerbates the issues caused by a lack of resources for parents and youth.

Live Chats with Peer and Mentors

Diversity Is A Verb Nation has announced the upcoming launch of its Facebook group Diversity Is A Verb Youth Nation, a live bi-monthly video chat series. Their Kick Off Party will be at the Campus of Bronx Community College July 6th offering teens and young adults a chance to meet and greet and get expert advice from today’s movers & shakers in all industries! Teen and Young adults are welcome to join in person or online for free!

Ms Humber says, “I have currently create and developed a FB group called DiversityIsaVerbYouthNation after my business Diversity is a Verb LLC.  This group page will debut 7/6/2017 @ 12pm.  Our mission is to provide youth with live videos that will improve their daily life skills (twice a month) with videos geared towards self-improvement, how to navigate school, etc.  Leaders & experts in their field talking to kids about their own struggles & victories, with a short Q & A after the talk.”  On July 6, we will have a headliner: Tito Montano (Rapper), Award Winning Artist David Heredia, Mindfulness Expert Topacio Despierta, African Dancers, Poets and much more all talking, engaging and interacting with our young adults.

The live video chats will give parents and youth an opportunity to interact with experts in a range of areas pertaining specifically to today’s youth.

How to access to Diversity is a Verb Youth Nation

Diversity Is A Verb Nation will be easily accessible, leveraging the Facebook platform to allow youth and parents to log on anytime from smart devices. Between live video chats, which will occur on the first and last Sundays of each month, the group’s members will be able to interact in family activities, share inspirational quotes, read informational articles, and more.

We are asking that young adults bring their phones and ask questions in person and virtually, we will be live in 12 countries and looking to have more than a few thousand participating in this online party.
