Civic Duty

It is imperative that our Future Executives are aware of government decision making, and the impacts upon you, your family, and community. Please participate in our FE Civics section where we encourage you to become involved in your community, by asking politicians questions, as well as informing them of the needs and/or issues in your community. A good place to start is by visiting www.whitehouse.gov. Click on The agenda section at the bottom of the home page.  You can begin to learn about the many things that our government is working on. Other areas to explore on the white house website are: The Briefing Room, The Administration, About the White House and Our Government.

Check out our Civic Duty section  which includes “John Legend flexes his civic muscles”, an open letter to a local newspaper from singer John Legend regarding a cartoons debatable message.  Mr. Legend’s letter acts as an example of how one speaks out against issues that concern local, state and global communities.  We would like to post concerns and comments too!  Let get the dialogue going!
