As a Personal Development and Empowerment Coach, Kim Knight helps women of today define success in their terms and find the path towards achieving it. Her belief in the importance of personal development is what ignited her desire to become a life coach in the first place.
Her years of employment in sales and leadership roles (in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors) have provided her with vast knowledge of how personal development plays a significant role in people achieving success in their personal and professional lives.
She herself made the decision to start her own coaching practice and venture into the world of entrepreneurship. It was through her own journey of personal development and willingness to create a vision, explore the opportunities and pursue them that has led her to success in owning and operating her own business.
She wants to be able to help other women achieve their dreams as well. Through Personal Development Coaching, Kim is able to help women overcome obstacles that may stand in the way of them reaching their full potential. Whether she is working with her clients one-on-one, in a group or within a workshop, Kim has had huge success in helping women determine what is important to them and holding them accountable in achieving the goals they set for themselves. By getting clients in touch with their core values she has managed to help many of them connect with their life’s purpose.
Kim earned her coaching credentials through the iPEC training program which is certified by the International Coaching Federation. She is also the host of her own internet radio show entitled Empowerment-2-Action which is designed to offer tips and techniques on how to manage different areas of life. She also holds a BA and MBA with a specialization in management.
Over the course of her career and experience as a parent, Kim has worked full-time while being a very busy mom and committed wife. Most recently, she has added the title of entrepreneur to her list of roles and responsibilities. She understands the joys and challenges of work/family balance issues and appreciates every opportunity to learn and grow from the experience. Kim resides in Long Island, NY with her husband of 14 years and 2 children.
