Take action against Cyberbullying!

Based on Cyberbullying statistics from the i-SAFE Foundation, more than half of adolescents and teens in America have been bullied online. Make you voice matter and speak out against it! Encourage your local government officials to consider cyberbullying a hate crime. Bronx, New York Senator Jeff Klein has created legislation that would make cyberbullying a second degree aggravated harassment misdemeanor and a third degree stalking misdemeanor allowing cyberbullying to be eligible offenses under the NYS Hate Crimes ACT for the first time. Senator Klein’s hope is that legislation will have a chilling effect on cyber bullying and make children and parents alike aware of how serious this issue really is in today’s society. He needs the data to support his movement in NYC YOUTH stand up and be heard! Be part of the FIRST New York Cyberbullying Census!  All responses to www.nycyberbullycensus.com are anonymous. If you or someone you know is being bullied, go online and have your voice heard! Help Senator Klein (local address- 1250 Waters Pl. Bronx, NY 10461) make cyberbullying a crime!
